My personal view

MY PERSONAL VIEW ON RELATIONSHIPS

NOT ONLY AM I REFERING TO THE DATING KIND OF RELATIONSHIP
A relationship is the way in which two or more things are connected and behave towards each other.
A relationship is a partnership but it is always good to remember that one is an individual before being that partner, sister or friend.

Individualism grants a person the quality of being different from other people and making decisions that leave one satisfied.
Yes! I know relationships are about compromises but, don’t you think that compromising too much leads to failure?
Reality is…….Relationships and friendships are not forever, count the number of exes (and friends you used to hang with) in your life and reminisce a bit…..did you think you’re your relation you had would end?
I do not think so!!!!!!!!

What about relationships with family members?
You’ve heard the saying “you can choose your friends but you can never choose your family”
Truth is you are stuck with your family for the rest of your or their lives.
Family is part of who we are as individuals, so MAKE IT WORK no matter how hard it may be!

Am I saying a relationship between friends and partners is not as important?
YES and NO
You might think engaging in a relationship with an open mind which reminds you that it is bound to end like the previous ones you’ve had before is wrong
OR
Hanging with friends but keeping in mind the fact that you possibly won’t be in touch with in the next…..say two years because it is said that “friends come and go”
Topography or growth changes people.
I might sound emotionless but this is just reality.

A relationship should work for both parties (individuals involved in it), no one should under any circumstances feel compromised.
There are people who stay in relations that are definitely not working out because they have invested many years in them, BUT if it goes horribly wrong after 100 why waste another 10 fixing it. Might as well invest elsewhere!!!!
Easier said than done?
Obviously!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But life goes on and so should you.
I repeat……………. Relationships are not forever, leave that little room for disappointments and when it ends then you just MOVE ON!!!!!!!!!!!
You are bound to make friends who you love but change separates you, what do you do?
Make new ones and learn to love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!

This right here is my PERSONAL view.

So long……………..

Online news and journalism in South Africa

I was going through half of the different news websites in South Africa, the aim was to establish a comparison or difference between them concerning the news quality, page layout and the pros and cons of these particular different pages.
News 24 http://www.news24.com/World?src=c2c is a good online publication, the pictures are of great quality and the page layout is organized in an understandable manner. It gives one the opportunity to search the kind of news they want and it contains the date and time of publication. There is a weather forecast which is easy to comprehend. Short cuts to the majority of the social network are provided and this makes it more convenient. It has the ability to attract the usage of the youth because it is classy, convenient and vibey. It is accessed by the majority of South Africans because it is well known for publishing news as hey break and the subscription few is reasonable.

Mail and guardian http://www.mg.co.za/ also contains the search option and an understandable weather forecast. There is a bit of sensational reporting on the other part of the page. The photographs are limited; one finds stories which tend to contain no pictures. The layout is a bit unattractive, there is less usage of colour which leads to its dullness. It has a cartoon and business section. Media consumers on his site are given a chance to make comments on the published news, it goes to show hat random people can take part in the creation of news because the comments they make tend to raise debates. Mail and Guardian online is not that sophisticated, it has that golden oldie vibe and is suitable for people over the age of 35 who don’t really care about the entertaining factor in news.

Times live http://www.timeslive.co.za/sundaytimes/?gclid=CL3qp7y1wacCFQsTfAodbm11_g  has a relatively colourful and eye catching layout. It provides headlines which makes it easy to classify the top stories. Picture quality is good and almost every article contains one. There are editorials and reviews. This one line publication of The Times newspaper is out if this world, it is almost like holding a printed newspaper in your finger tips. This online publication is totally the best as it can save one a lot of time and one gets to avoid holding a newspaper which is huge and makes it difficult to read.
